When buildings are elastically uncoupled from the surrounding, the entire structure or parts thereof are placed on spring elements. In this technique the building is protected against vibrations and noise.

During the planning stage of such a project a concept for the selection and arrangement of the spring elements is worked out in close cooperation with acoustic consultants and responsible civil engineers. When required, also static and dynamic design work for the building can be carried out regarding the strength and serviceability states of the building.
